It is also very very expensive. In fact if you can lay hands on a bottle of chanel 5 in india consider yourself supremely lucky. Now perfume miniatures are also available so even poor people like me can gift this to someone they love.
 
I bought one from baazee.com and I am sorry I did not buy more because so few are available.
 
Anyway if you lay hands on a bottle anywhere used or unused just do not let it go. When I was a kid and smelt some white ladies who had come to shop in my father’s shop I wondered from where they got this heavenly smell. Now I know it was Chanel # 5. I am sorry chanel died otherwise I would have congratulated her for this incredibly beautiful creation of hers.
